Breathing Underwater
By Alex Flinn watts.breathing_underwater.jpg

Breathing Underwater is a very interesting book. It really describes the struggles that can happen on the inside of people. Nick struggles with his anger problems as well as the problems he has with his abusive father. I think that Alex Flinn did a really good job at describing the reasons behind everything that happened in the book. I really liked this book and think that it would be very important to have in the wandering group of book lovers. The literary devices that Alex Flinn uses shows an example of great writing. Also, this piece of writing shows the façade that some people wear when really they are struggling. At the climax of this book, you really root for Nick as he finally stands up to his abusive father.
